Creating the required HubSpot associations

AllianceHub requires two custom association labels — partner company and partner contact — to allow deals to be associated with the relevant channel partner company and partner sales rep.

Follow these steps to create the labels.

  1. In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the main navigation bar.
  2. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Objects, then select Deals.
  3. Click the Associations tab.
  4. Click the orange Create association label button.
  5. In the right panel:
    1. Click the Objects you're associating dropdown menu, and select Deals-to-Companies.
    2. In the Association label field, enter Partner Company.
    3. Double check that the label's internal name is partner_company. Once the label is created, the internal name cannot be edited.

  6. At the bottom, click Create.
  7. Repeat step 4, and select Deals-to-Contacts.
    1. In the Association label field, enter Partner Contact.
    2. Double check that the label's internal name is partner_contact. Once the label is created, the internal name cannot be edited.

  8. Click Create.

You're done!
